Greenwich Village Athletic (GVA) is a local, private member athletic club. We train in squads: a group of people who workout together 2x a week with a dedicated coach.

SQUADS.

Full-body strength & conditioning twice a week at the same time and place with a dedicated coach.

Schedule: 2x / Week

Athletes: Max 20

Workout: 55 min Strength & Conditioning

​​Workouts feature a dynamic warm up, 2-3 strength blocks, and a conditioning block.

​​

Programming utilizes ergometers and compound free weight movements in a variety of formats (EMOM, AMRAP, etc.) to challenge any level of athlete.​

We finish every workout with coffee and a bit of banter. â€‹

ADVANCED PERFORMANCE SQUADS.

Precision strength training twice a week in a semi-private squad with a dedicated coach.

Schedule: 2x / Week

Athletes: Max 6

Workout: 60 min Strength & VO2 Work

​​Workouts feature a mobility intro, pre-fatigue warm up, key barbell lift, accessory movements, and a conditioning effort. Each athlete receives personalized weight and output targets that are updated every 12 weeks to ensure progressive overload is achieved.

​

Programming is designed to continually challenge each athlete to grow stronger in the four key lifts and VO2 max conditioning.

Additional strength, conditioning, and mobility classes so you can design a weekly training routine that suits your schedule and goals.

Run Club

Our local run clubs meet Monday-Thursday, morning and night, all year round - so there's always a time to get some miles in with your mates. 

 

On Saturdays in the spring - fall, everyone comes together for our community 10k, Stone 2 Stone.

Community

More than a gym, we organize monthly social events and support squad camaraderie with dedicated WhatsApp groups.
